garden is rockin'

we had a close call earlier this week with lows in the mid-30s... we were worried about our tomatoes and peppers and squash and cukes, but everything soldier through unharmed.

the slugs this season are worse than they've ever been, though...

we've got a couple of summer squash ready to harvest today, and the peas are about waist-high. the onions are as thick as pencils and significantly taller. the brocs and caulis looks great, and the garlic must be close to finishing! i mean it is just so tall and green. todd planted corn at kerens on friday, too.

the penstemon is flowering beautifully!
